The Rest & Be Thankful Inn is the village pub which serves food and is child and dog friendly. Luxborough is also approx 3 miles and has a village pub, The Royal Oak in Luxborough. There is also a wonderful choice of restaurants, pubs, tea rooms and other shops in the medieval Village of Dunster, approx 5 miles.

Honeycott is situated in the heart of the Exmoor National Park and has breathtaking views towards the coast, across the hills and valleys. This area is very popular with walkers and lovers of nature - anyone just wanting to get away from it all!

The cottage is in great central location on Exmoor making it an ideal base, whether you are seeking out the heather-clad moorlands, deep wooded valleys, the highest sea cliffs in England, or looking for the wildlife - Red Deer, Exmoor Ponies, Buzzards to name a few. It is a wonderful place to explore by car or on foot anytime of year.

Snowdrop Valley on the outskirts of Wheddon Cross is very popular in February, when people come to see the ‘carpet of snowdrops’. There is a park and ride scheme running from Wheddon Cross car park, which is 3 miles.

Within an hours drive there are many attractions to keep you entertained, including Wimbleball Reservoir - just 15 minutes by car - for sailing, boating and fishing.

The cottage will be ready from 3 pm on the day you arrive. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.
